The St. Francis of Assisi Pastoral Council is an advisory/consultative body to the Pastor. It is composed of volunteer parishioners and the Principal of St. Francis of Assisi School. It is led by the Pastor and is responsible for planning and maintaining the long-range vision of God's ministry for the parish. Guided by the Mission Statement and a strategic plan (updated annually) the Pastoral Council collaborates with staff members, parishioners, committees, ministries, and organizations to carry out this vision. Pastoral Council members serve a three-year term running from July 1 through June 30. Three new members are commissioned each year through a discernment process conducted each spring. The Pastoral Council meets on the last Thursday of each month.
