The RCIA process is the normative avenue for people to either enter the Catholic Church or to receive the remainder of the Sacraments of Initiation. This process is a combination of catechesis, spiritual formation, rites, and the reception of the Sacraments at the Easter Vigil. The length of the process depends upon the participants past catechetical background and a variety of other considerations.
