St. Francis of Assisi Youth Ministry
Mission Statement
We Are St. Francis of Assisi Youth and
We Believe that youth are a vital part of our faith
community. Our Youth Ministry offers a safe, welcoming and comfortable
place where young people can make and develop positive relationships with
family, each other, our God, and His church.
We Serve one another and all other youth by providing a
place where our social, emotional, and spiritual needs are met. As a
reflection of the love and support that our Lord, parish, and community
have given us, we gladly serve them all through joyful Christian service.
We Offer a variety of fun, interactive, and hands-on
activities that encourage us to understand, appreciate and experience
that we are actively participating in our Catholic faith.

Teen Sacrament Program Information
Sacrament of Confirmation for Teens
If
you are interested in the Sacrament of Confirmation, and if you’ll be at
least a sophomore in High School in the Fall of 2009, Parents and
Teens must attend one of the following Parent / Youth meetings
for information and registration:
Wednesday, August 12th •
7:30 - 9 p.m. • Youth Room
or
Monday, August 31st •
7:30 - 9 p.m. • Youth Room
or
Monday, September 14th •
7:30 - 9 p.m. • Youth Room
or
Thursday, September 24th
• 7:30 - 9 p.m. • Youth Room
Registration packets for
Confirmation are due in to the Parish Office
no later than Wednesday,
September 30th, 2009

Year One
- Teen Sacraments (7th – 12th Graders)
First Reconciliation and First Communion
Teen
Sacrament Preparation at St. Francis of Assisi is a comprehensive
two-year program that will prepare you to celebrate the Sacraments of
First Reconciliation and First Communion. If you have already been
baptized, and will be in the 7th - 12th grade in the Fall of 2009, you
are eligible for Year One in the Teen Sacrament Program. To register for
this program
Parents and
Teens must
attend one of the following Mandatory Meetings:
Thursday, August 20th
•7:30 - 9 p.m. in the Youth Room
or
Wednesday, September 9th
• 7:30 - 9 p.m. in the Youth Room

Year Two
- Teen Sacraments (7th – 12th Graders)
First Reconciliation and First Communion
Teen
Sacrament Preparation at St. Francis of Assisi is a comprehensive
program that will prepare you to celebrate the Sacraments of First
Reconciliation and First Communion. If you have already been baptized,
are in the 7th - 12th grade this fall, and have had at least one year’s
prior attendance in our program, you are eligible for Year Two in the
Teen Sacrament Program to receive the Sacraments of First Reconciliation
and First Communion.
