Altar Servers/Acolytes

Altar Serving is a liturgical ministry. It is a service to the gathering of God's people at mass, at prayer services, funerals, and weddings. The server assists the presider; prepares the altar; leads three processions during Mass; guides the assembly when to stand, to sit, to kneel; makes sure that what is needed for the celebration is brought, carried, or moved into place.  Read more...

CYO (Catholic Youth Organization)

CYO allows our youth to practice Christian attitudes and responsibilities and become friends with other children throughout the diocese. CYO activities should be examples of the meaning of Christian sportsmanship. St Francis of Assisi parish has boys and girls teams for Basketball, Cross Country, Track, and Volley Ball.  Read more...

Marian Movement for Priests

The Marian Movement of Priests is a private association of Catholic clergy and lay associate members founded by Italian priest Fr. Stefano Gobbi in 1972. While visiting the Shrine of Our Lady of Fátima in Portugal he felt himself inspired to begin this work, whose principal emphases are to encourage Consecration, especially of priests, to the Immaculate Heart of Mary, and whole-hearted fidelity to the Magisterium of the Pope.  Read more...

Pastoral Council

The St. Francis of Assisi Pastoral Council is an advisory/consultative body to the Pastor. It comprises volunteer parishioners and the Principal of St. Francis of Assisi School. The Pastor leads it and is responsible for planning and maintaining the long-range vision of God's ministry for the parish.  Read more...

St. Vincent de Paul Society

Now in our 18th year of operation at St. Francis, 35 volunteers work in various capacities to provide food and other assistance to those in need in our area five mornings each week. We are fortunate to have the pantry facility and the support of our priests and parishioners to continue as a vital resource for the poor in the Concord community.  Read more...

Respect Life Committee

Respect Life Committee promotes the sanctity of human life from conception to natural death in conjunction with the US Bishops' Pro-Life Committee and the Diocesan office.  Read more...
